Questions of the Week

18 May 2008 In: Favourite Questions

Every week, we will pick our top questions from the week and talk about them. To make things a little more interesting, we will also re-open these questions for another week and see how the results change!

So, without further ado, here are our top questions from the past week:

  1. Martine - What was the best Harry Potter novel in the series?
It was only a matter of time until someone asked a Harry Potter question and I’m sure this one won’t be the last! 43% of people said that Order of the Phoenix was the most popular, with The Half-Blood Prince second and Prisoner of Azakaban in at third (tied with Any other book thats GOOD!”). A quick search of Amazon shows that Prisoner of Azakaban has an average rating of 5 stars, while Half-Blood and Phoenix each have 4.5 stars. So Defuddle users have slightly different preferences to Amazon users! Click on the question link above and answer again!
  2. Oliver - Is a 3G iPhone worth the wait?
60% of people agreed that a 3G iPhone was definately worth the wait, and I have to say that I agree with them. For those who care, a 3G is a next-generation mobile phone network that is running in most parts of the world now and is stedily over-taking the older, 2G network. “3″ in Australia gets its namesake from the technology. A 3G iPhone has been rumoured since it was announced, and would mean faster downloads and better call quality on the iPhone. It is widely expected to be announced in June, so keep your ears out for it! Every nerd in the world is going to rejoice when it comes.
Thats it for this week! Come back soon for more featured questions!

Introducing Defuddle

30 Apr 2008 In: Updates

Welcome to the Defuddle blog!

What is Defuddle?

Defuddle is a place to answer questions. When faced with dilemmas we make it easy to make up your mind. Ask a question, provide your choices (you can let other people suggest other options if you like), and see what the world has to say. Don’t waste time - you can get an answer in as little as an hour (but if you’re not in a rush you can leave it much longer). We’ll send you an email with the best answer (and of course, detailed results are available too) so you can be on your merry way.

Want to dictate the lives of others? Fulfil your childhood dream by answering stuff on Defuddle. You don’t even need to register to have a say.
